Daniel G. Schmieg is a partner in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Law firm of Phelan Hallinan & Schmieg, LLP. He has been practicing exclusively in the area of mortgage foreclosure for the past 13 years and is the firm’s resident expert on complex foreclosure matters. Mr. Schmieg received his B.A. degree from the University of North Texas and his J.D. degree from Temple University School of Law. He has lectured before the Pennsylvania Sheriff’s Association and at many industry conferences and has most recently served as a faculty member at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s 8 th Annual Real Estate Institute Seminar. Prior to his legal career, Mr. Schmieg worked as a journalist and freelance cartoonist in the Dallas, Texas area.
